Yeah, part of me is avoiding doing work right now. Thumbnails of possible compositions for my character design.

Barque study and Character design #2

First up, a Barque study of... a foot. It took two nights with an hour each night. Not too bad. click for larger.



Secondly, got another character design. This is an early draft. I'm leaning towards medieval-Renaissance Spain or Italy. He was the royal sorcerer in this alt-history world, but was blinded when the king's enemies staged a coup. This guy has just barely escaped.

speedpaint

Decided to try a speedpaint. I don't really do them, thought it'd be a good exercise. I have a ways to go with digital coloring. Ref photo from Character Designs. Time, ~30min.
